  • 5. Refunds will be issued to the same payment method used for payment.

Cancel an order

  • 1. You can cancel your order directly from the Cancel My Order page. However, it may take time due to customs procedures.
  • 2. If your order has been declared for customs, please contact customer service as online cancellation is not possible.

Exchange/return/refund notes

  • If a traveler is carrying duty-free goods purchased at a duty-free shop into the country and requests an exchange or refund, they must declare and hold the goods at customs upon entry (unless the total value of the goods to be exchanged or refunded is $800 or less) or the exchange or refund will not be granted.
  • The exchanged duty-free goods must be repurchased in accordance with the procedure for purchasing duty-free goods and can be picked up at the departure hall.

  • For identity verification purposes, please bring a physical passport to make purchases. We do NOT accept copies (either paper or photocopies) of passports.
  • Please make sure you know your departure date before visiting the store.
  • If your departure date is more than 30 days away, you will need to bring your airline ticket (E -ticket) or booking confirmation.

Shop on Shinsegae Duty Free Online Mall

  • The online duty-free mall is open for shopping 24/7.
  • Please make sure you enter accurate personal information and departure details for successful deliveries of the goods at the designated delivery site upon departure.
    • Unlike regular e-commerce, you cannot receive goods ordered on the online duty-free mall at home.
    • Purchases are not available when traveling to Jeju Island.

Limits on Purchases for Foreigners When Leaving/ Entering South Korea

  • There is no limit on purchases foreigners can make when leaving South Korea.
  • When entering South Korea, the limit on duty-free purchases is US$800 per person, including South Korean products, purchases made outside of South Korea, and purchases made at duty-free stores at the port of entry.

Product delivery procedure

  •  On the day of departure, after completing the departure formalities, you will need to pick up your items at Shinsegae Duty Free Delivery before boarding.
  •  The departing passenger must present his/her passport, boarding pass, and voucher to receive the goods.
  •  If you are unable to produce your voucher, please write down your order number and present it.
  •  When you receive the product, please check the quantity and product name immediately and sign the acceptance box.
  •  If there are any abnormalities after delivery, please notify the staff at the delivery hall immediately. Shinsegae Internet Duty Free is not responsible for any abnormalities after you leave the country.
  •  If your departure information such as English name, date of birth, passport number, etc. is incorrectly entered in the voucher, the product will not be delivered, so please enter the correct information (the same information as your passport) when ordering the product.

Notes on Receiving the Product

  •  You can take delivery of the goods by presenting the voucher, your passport and flight ticket at the delivery point in the designated bonded area (airports and seaports).
  •  The goods will not be delivered to your address, and you will not be provided with a separate place to store the goods.
  •  You will not be able to take delivery of your goods when you enter the country.
